There’s fun for all the family at the annual Cookham Dean Village Fete on Saturday 15th September. Entertainments include a dog show with fancy dress, agility and obedience competition, a mobile farm, birds of prey flying demonstration, ferret racing, a flower and produce show as well as vintage cars, demonstrations in the craft tent and a lion dance spectacular by Eagle Claw Kung Fu association.
Listen to the Cookham Dean Cluckers Ukulele Band and enjoy the varied offerings of the Food Fayre, ranging from Barbecue,Prima’s Kitchen Sri Lankan food, Rolling Dough pizzas, Indian from The Indian Cooking Club, tea and cakes, ice cream and Candy Floss, beer and Pimms.
There are side stalls, games of chance and fun activities for children including a bouncy castle, train rides, trampolines, face painting and a coconut shy.
The fete runs from 1pm until 5pm on the Old Cricket Common,Church Road, Cookham Dean and all proceeds are donated to local Charities
