Following the very successful opera evening last year, Cookham Dean Village Club is delighted to invite you to another opera evening on Saturday 11th October in Cookham Dean Village Hall.
This year Rogue Opera will perform an entertaining show of arias and ensembles from opera’s big hits and hidden gems, including pieces by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and more.
Presented in an engaging cabaret-style format, with introductions by the singers setting in context the characters and stories of each piece, this promises to be a fantastic evening of music for young and old(er)!
Rogue Opera aims to make opera accessible to both newcomers and connoisseurs in a compact presentation by four singers and pianist, enabling performances in diverse spaces without the need for surtitles, large sets, chorus or orchestra.
The evening will run from 7:00pm – 11:00pm and will include supper and a welcome drink. Get a table together with friends or you are most welcome to come along on your own and we will place you.
(If you would like to buy a combination of member and non-member tickets you will need to make two separate registrations/ payments)
Get your tickets early. Last year we sold out!
