A Most Curious Life & Death of Rudolf Hess (Postponed)

  • 27 Mar 2020
  • 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

This event has been postponed until further notice

What promises to be an insightful and fascinating illustrated talk, with Q&As, by Major General Peter Williams, CMG, OBE, of BRIXMIS.

Major General Peter Williams  worked in West Berlin with the British Military, during the cold war.  Rudolf Hess, Hitler’s deputy,  flew from Germany in the war, with a peace proposal. He was convicted at the War Crimes Trials Nuremberg & imprisoned in Spandau Jail.

He was looked after by the British Army & Peter Williams’s unit was responsible for him.

There is no entrance fee for this talk, but we would apprecipate a donation to Charity on the night.  All proceeds will be going to the Charitable Organisation Combat Stress
